I am still crunching 24/7, it may not look like it. Still, all those diseases are still here. As you may not know, rainfall studies have been going for over 40 years. So many studies from other countries as well. I am wondering if not using gpu's is a huge barrier. All those GPU companies are saying that they are the way to go. Whatever, as long as we can solve this truly horrible diseases. Got to. wink

Going to ask about this in another thread or in the Africa Rain Project. I hope for answers like the rest of us. coffee

The single African Rainfall WU that I pulled down ran for 11hrs 8mins, then sat in PV purgatory for about 24hrs before finally showing up as valid. The wingman took about 16hrs to process the same file, so a lower clock speed CPU, presumably. Over 3,000 points though, so the long processing/validation times may be worth the effort from a point perspective.
