At this point I doubt the conversion will ever occur. It has been six years since this issue was raised and no movement has ever occurred. Maybe they should consider outsourcing this to the crunching community? I doubt that will ever occur due to privacy and other potential issues .Yikes! I hope that the security part will not deteriorate. Some/Many people are not aware of the 'open cookie wars' on the net. Many small and large companies are involved with profiling using some questionable techniques (to be extremely kind to that ilk). Much can be learned here and I have down-loaded 2 or 3 really good free tracker blockers (one of them is there at the EFF) which lists more than 1,000 tracking companies as well. Collecting profiles tat are sent to Big Data companies which ties many components concerning profiling. A lot of stuff. It's 1984 all over again and these companies and a bazillion startups getting millions and millions of dollars to get all these unique info bits about us all. Happy Bithday team. Happy Birthday All! Aloha, Co-Captains (fellow Team Mates)! Our Team Challenge started yesterday and although e we want to do very well, even more important, it is a time to thank "All Present and Former Team Mates" for crunching with us here at the WCG all these 11 Years. One of those is here to crunch with us for this Team Challenge. So Doneske, a very warm welcome to you! We have moved up one spot in Results Returned to now be ranked #33 in that very important stat at the World Community Grid.  This is a *very large* Team and as such, could/may regain that spot. I'm pretty sure that team Rwchenkraft does not recognize that they were overtaken by us.

I'm pretty sure that team Rwchenkraft does not recognize that they were overtaken by us. I'm member of their forum and other boinc projects and they only keep an eye on point stats.
