It appears that the GPU tasks can't run on my computers. There were long lists of "computation errors". Something like 200 or more bad tasks for each computer. I've disabled GPU tasks from my profiles. Maybe that'll help with returning usable data. Dick Dastardly, Can you state what type of video card you have and a sample posting of your error log? Maybe we can help. Ray |

Sure, RaymondFO. These are company computers under my jurisdiction and not gaming machines, so the specs will be lower than what you're likely used to.
----------------------------------------AMD Radeon HD 7450, Nvidia GeForce GTX 550Ti. There's also one Nvidia GeForce GT520, but it already reported itself to be incapable of GPU tasks under WCG. All are running under Win7 64 Pro. Thanks in advance for any help. These computers are used by others, but I can do minor mods or tests on them if need be. I might need to schedule administration with the users, so any tests/mods probably won't be immediate. <edit> I looked at one of the message logs and it was huge. It kept saying essentially the same thing over and over though. Output file XXXXXXX is missing or something to that effect. Should I copy the entire log? </edit> Please copy the file, and did you ever adjust your video settings under "Control Panel < Power Options< Change plan settings" - The "Turn off display" and "Put computer to sleep" should be "Never." Putting the settings to sleep will cause the video card to no longer process, and that is the issue I had. You can also access this setting under "Control Panel< System and Security< Power Options. |

Please copy the file, and did you ever adjust your video settings under "Control Panel < Power Options< Change plan settings" - The "Turn off display" and "Put computer to sleep" should be "Never." Putting the settings to sleep will cause the video card to no longer process, and that is the issue I had. You can also access this setting under "Control Panel< System and Security< Power Options. Thanks RaymondFO. I can work with the spare computer until the user is hired. It has the Radeon HD 7450. I did have the power settings set to turn off the display adaptor after 30 minutes, so I changed that to "Never". The Sleep, Hibernate, Network and Hard Drives were already at "Never". I enabled the GPU setting and let it run for some minutes. I'm still evidently getting the error, so I changed the local override to stop use of the GPU.
