Re: Team Andrax, The Great International Team!

JC, it all depends on what is is being run on your system. You can lower the amount that WCG can use until your system perform according to your likely (good response time + the CPU time and elapse time for a WU are close)

edit:

if you want to see how much memory a WU is using you can open up task manager and look. Under View->select columns, you can add "memory - peak working set"

Terve, Co-Captains (fellow Team Mates)!

We have moved up one spot in Results Returned to now be ranked #44 in that stat at the World Community Grid.

/salutes the mighty flagship Lidingo stad

Colorado has many cyclist clubs and we also sponsors many cycle races in the state of Colorado (the USA Olympic Committee is headquartered in Colorado Springs as well, and of course, cyclists train here year around).

It is a very common site to see many cyclists riding in pelotons all over the challenging hills and mountains in Colorado Springs. I get tired just thinking how tough that must be. tongue

THE GAZETTE
Cyclists gear up for Pro Challenge, mountain passes and finishes
Start Monday in Durango; finishes in Colorado Springs Friday
August 18, 2012 5:19 PM

An elite field of international pro cyclists has again assembled in Colorado for the USA Pro Challenge.

Riders from 24 countries will embark on a 683-mile journey through the state, starting Monday in Durango and finishing Aug. 26 in Denver. Stage 5 of the second-year event will conclude Friday afternoon in Colorado Springs.

“These guys are going to be punished for seven days,” race CEO Shawn Hunter promised Saturday during an introductory press conference at Fort Lewis College in Durango.

The route features three uphill finishes and more than 42,000 feet of climbing. Last year’s queen stage from Gunnison to Aspen, with trips above 12,000 feet on Cottonwood and Independence passes, is back. But this year’s race, which will be shown live during the week on NBC Sports Network with weekend coverage on NBC, seems destined to be decided Aug. 25

Re: Team Andrax, The Great International Team!

Had to cycle last wednesday, which was a holiday here. And saturday too. 38°C, 100°F sad I don't like cycling, but my wife loves it crying
It seems that there are no more WUs for CFSW, so i think, i won't get gold, and you, Johhny, no badge at all. Switching on other projects now. Crunching is the point wink

Switched over to all projects, and got some CFSW WUs again confused

Thanks for the offer, anhhai! It's all fine with me that I am doing just SN2S work units. Great of you to offer but I will just keep plugging away on my PC.

Again, thanks. Maybe two airline tickets for a paid 30-say vacation in Europe.

j/k!

18 days to reach gold. Thank you a lot for that offer, but how could i gain time from you?

And, of course, you are invited! Only a few days to go!

Re: Team Andrax, The Great International Team!

Tom,

It is pretty simple. I just turn on my pc, open up BOINC. then sign in as you then let it run for a few days. You don't need to give me your username or password. Just need your account#.

Search for the file account_www.worldcommunitygrid.org.xml
In there you will see "authenticator", just give me the account number next to it. But on the side question. How many CPU days do you do per day? Because 18 isn't too much, you might be able to do it on your own.
