Didactylos,
I'm not sure why there were these failures to connect. Please note that they seem to correct themselves. It may simply be that there are intermittent failures to connect. Please see below a subset of the "daemon" log; then the "gui" log: Also note the timestamps; it appears the failure to connect logs for the daemon were proceeded with downloads in the gui log. p.s. Thanks for the help... StartServiceCtrlDispatcher being called. This may take several seconds. Is that the entire file? If so, I think you have a proxy problem. Have you configured BOINC to use your proxy connection?

Hi all, I originally posted the question.
We managed to figure it out and we now have over 500 devices registered. Yesterday the Clemson School of Computing team was first contributor in the US (over 24hours). We used the condor system (www.cs.wisc.edu/condor) and used the backfill option to run the BOINC client. I will post some detailed instructions if people are interested. -sebastien goasguen (for clemsontiger :) ) |
