Several times recently when I have had ti restart my XP machine, the shutdown process stops because boincmgr.exe won't close.

Hello jgiddy,
The most likely solution is to wipe your hard drive and do a complete reinstall of Windows XP. For myself, I am too lazy to do that for a minor problem. Instead, try to reinstall BOINC and see if that fixes the problem. At worst, that will let you tell yourself that you tried. Lawrence |
