For how long is it normal for results to be at "pending validation" ??
I have one sitting there for 2 days now, is that normal ? Thank you. |

It can take up to the max return time for the WU, if it has been sent to someone who takes ages to return their result....you have to wait until the other results come in...

If you click on the name of the work unit in the Results Status page, you will see the status of all the other copies of that work unit. It is explained in http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=17303 Lawrence |

Hi Maria: Here is a copy of the status of a Work Unit (WU) that entered my que last night. Apparently the WU needed a quorum of two but one of the machines did not send a reply --- so the WCG system sent it out again. I got it with an earlier time due date of only two days. So I suspended my other running stuff so it would start early to finish in time. The WU started in late January and will finish tonight (Feb 4) on my system. Total time went about nine days on three seperate systems that I know of. My system is the "In Progess" line. Here is a copy of the results status for the WU in discussion here: Result Name............................ Status........... Sent Time.......Time Due X00000472906...2101331_0...... In Progress.... 02/04/2008.... 02/06/2008 X00000472906...2101331_0...... Pending Valid. 01/26/2008.... 01/27/2008 X00000472906...2101331_0......
