Yes, Dave. It's getting quiet again in here. Been there. Done that. Not the first time and not the last time. Blizzie's got his hands full with paperwork getting into college. A real but necessary pain. Just wait until he buys a house some day. Amazing how many times you can sign your name in two hours - and how suddenly DEEP in debt you are. Then you have to furnish the place!

We're having mixed results on the team challenges. Yes, we lost the first and will lose the current one but the first was a great success. We had a lot of cross posting with the Edwardians and I'd enjoy another match with them in the future. Our current challenge has proven to be all too quiet. We had a few folks cross posting but we didn't seem to get much of a reaction or so it would seem. Well, .500 isn't all that bad. We have the Bunny Race coming up shortly. I think our next team challenge will be in April at the earliest. We've had a number of changes lately and I want to have a somewhat settled time on which to base a handicap.

I've just shut down my C2D machine. At best, it'll be back online Wednesday but could be out for a few more days than that. It would seem that I've not kept it adqeuately ventilated and have to get a now noisy fan replaced. Live and learn. I believe I have everything I need during the downtime back on my P4 machine.

Thanks to everyone for hanging in there and sticking with us. Progress is never as fast as you'd like it to be but we'll get there. I encourage everyone to take a moment to get a little bit involved in our thread here. It's safe and painless. It also helps encourage others to join us. Would you want to join a team with a dead thread? Communication is hard enough and this thread is our best option at the moment.

Yea I'm sorry about the lack of points for this challenge. As you all know my C2D was unstable and I've been spending the last what.. 2 weeks trying to figure out the problem. Re-overclocking and everything. Finally got it stable at 3.5 GHz with 4 GB of mismatched RAM. Lost 100 MHz and gained 2 GB of stock speed RAM instead of (1066 MHz). Hm what's better? Anyways, need to run a memtest86 overnight and overschool. Once it passes, I'm all set. Makes me feel bad since I was the one who wanted the challenge in the first place.

Hehe. Driving is fun for the first couple times but after it gets old and boring. Not to mention scary. I don't like that much.
