----------------------------------------Welcme back Den...... Sunday papers couldn't make a better story than yours he he Very good afternoon all, It's been a beautiful day here in East Anglia, apart from a tiny shower of hail just after lunch, the sun as shone since break of day!. I went for a riverside walk and through the woodland for a few hours, nature was in full swing gearing up for the summer!, Daffs' and marsh Marigold gave a wonderful carpet of golden sunshine and every type of feathered friend was chirping, quacking and singing to the their hearts content, apart from the distant, hardly audible, traffic on the nearby motorway, not another sound interupted the catophony of natures music. For a moment I was one with the world and back to a time when the pace of life was more gentle!. Oh sweet memories of youth!. I hope your day was as good. ![]() Boo-ti-full day here in the North west also. but will the storms predicted hit here , who knows??? ***************** Sunday papers couldnt do it justice I have left out so much ought fer nought ******************* Did I ever tell you about the time I was asked to take a pkt to Marooc????? My first brush with a Canuck was on my first overseas trip to Garmisch.
He was totally off the wall and I remember him playing harmonica in the middle of the street (I have a picture of us all somewhere). From that moment on I've made a lot of time for them. Oh yes..........a certain Cheech and Chong sketch about Buster.....the Canadian Body Crab. ![]() |

I dont know if any conection with your Pa but its recently been refurbished No connection...he and my mum left Britain for Canada in 1947 I love to meet folks on holiday from strange parts of the globe... This year I seemed to come up against many Canucks... Not quite sure how I should read that Oh yes..........a certain Cheech and Chong sketch about Buster.....the Canadian Body Crab. American, Cheech Marin and Canuckian, Tommy Chong. Those two cracked me up when they first aired...late 60's/early 70's...and they still do to this day. Although, I'm not sure I remember that particular skit. |

`And apologies Jerry - I was looking only at our team table and that was impressive enough. No problem, some of that was when I was on the other teams... ![]() |
