Evening all
It's been raining here all day as well Merle. I just managed to sprint out for shopping with the umbrella but otherwise it's been a day for closing the hatches and settling for crosswords and the computer. Strange Scribbles - I installed the latest updates last evening and have had no ill effects whatsoever. I'm still with XP but I did install SP3 a few weeks ago so I don't know whether that had any affect. Congrats Guitar Man on becoming a millionaire! |

Good morning all.
----------------------------------------The only problem I've had with the new update is on my laptop which runs on Vista (I HATE VISTA!!!!!  ) I had to take it back to the computer shop before because whnever I would start the machine it would block BOINC, no matter how many time I said to allow it, it would always block it. That change also caused the laptop to not see or allow communication with the rest of the machines on my network which all run on 98, XP and Server 2003.With the new update installed, the network has returned and so has the block on BOINC. I've also been informed that Microsoft has scrapped Vista, finally realising it's crap. And I'm stuck with a Gateway the won't run on XP. It's ironic also that of all my machines, it's always the Gateways that give problems. Y'all have a great day.
