Evening all
Not quite as warm as yesterday but dry so managed to get some more done in the garden after the council had emptied my garden waste recycling bin. The bane of my life - the conker tree next door - has again got the dreaded moth attack, or what ever it is. This is the third year and the leaves are already badly affected with brown spots growing daily. Those in the churchyard are also infected so I'm not sure how long they can survive. |

woggle • noun a loop or ring of leather or cord through which the ends of a Scout’s neckerchief are threaded. — ORIGIN of unknown origin Woggles can also be made of bone or wood, and originally they were only worn by individuals who had earned the wood badge. I myeslf wear one made of leather that is interwined and known as a Turk's head woggle. I also have one made of wood that resembles a race car and is worn for Kub Kar racing. (Cub Scouts) Hope this helps. |
