Morning all.
----------------------------------------Don't know what's up with the Aids WU's lately. But I have one machine that will not run it no matter what. If a FAAH WU downloads I have to abort it, or it will crash every 12 minutes until I get rid of it. And as of about a week ago they're all taking twice as long to compute, one is even listed as taking over 400 hours. It's just barely going to make the deadline. Would have aborted it too if I'd caught it before it was half done. Hope everyone has a great day.

Evening all
No rain as forecast but a warm and sunny day so I did manage to do some clearing up in the garden.  Good morning allHappy Birthday to Britains oldest man ..... 112yrs young! (WOW more candle than cake!) a former mechanical engineer who later joined the AFC before it became the RAF and went on to fight on the Western front. I hope someone has thought to record his memories!. I would Love to know his recipe for a long life!. The rest of you have a great day too ........... (Not so) Old Sage  |

Morning everyone.
I believe I am right in saying that Henry is the oldest British Forces Veteran EVER! Happy Birthday to you mate! (It could be that he is the last of the WWI servicemen, there were about five last year, and I know a couple of those have since moved on to pastures new) Incidentally he plans to go to France again this year for the memorial service!, apparently he booked his hotel on his last visit!- Could it be that optimism is the secret to a long life?? |
