hello im brand new to this how do i know if and when my computer is helping ???

It depends on what software you are using.
If you use United Devices you can see some icon in the taskbar. Someone else could comment on this. If you use boinc you can see some blue cross in the status bar with an orange dot in it or the world community grid logo should be there. If it isn't you should start boinc and at world community grid as a project in boinc. If it still isn't working you should explain what you have already done and if you're using obinc or UD and what you're operating system is. |

Hi, missecphillips.
Post where you want. (Tedi, please move this to the chatroom.) In a couple of days, your points will start mounting up. That's the easiest way of tracking what's going on. If you want to know more about how World Community Grid makes a difference "out in the real world", then you will need to read the status reports for the individual projects. |
