Team Hierarchy

Would be nice if I can related teams in a hierarchical manner.

e.g. IBM Toronto System i AD Tools Team is child of IBM Toronto Lab who is a child of IBM

This way you can see progress at various levels. I want to track localized stats, but also want to contribute to the company's efforts as a whole.

Re: Team Hierarchy

Note.. ranking would only be tracked at the parent level as a result

Re: Team Hierarchy

Let's look. I see 936 teams with the word "IBM" in them. I see one team here named merely "IBM". If everyone joined the IBM world wide team, according to their mission statement, there would be no need for hierarchy. How is the hierarchy determined if this team is world wide?
(I'm just looking at this from outside of the IBM world. biggrin )

IBM-ers world wide unite to support the global community as Team IBM

How many kinds of hierarchy could actually be in here? How much overlap of members in these 936 teams is there?

You have an interesting question, but it could have a complex answer very easily.
