Another thread mentions that using a password on the screensaver preents that a proper graphics comes up -- that was reported on 5.10.22 installation.
I get the same on 5.10.30 - I can only see a bouncing WCG logo when password protection is on, if it is off, I see a nice graphic during screensaver. Seems to be bug remaing in that release...pls work on it -- I found no resolution on that... and I need a pw since it is an office pc. cheerio michael |

This is by design.
Windows' design, not BOINC. BOINC 6 will have redesigned the graphics to avoid this problem. |

How can this be a Windows design problem, not BOINC, when screensavers with passwords have worked fine on the UD agent for years?

It's not a design problem.
It's "by design", meaning it's working exactly as expected. Just not how we want, sadly. |
