Damon Hill into a Harley Davidson ? One like that ? Good morning everyone. I did go through my crotch rocket days but at my age and history I go for a more seasoned (comfortable) bike now. I have an '03 Electra Glide and a custom '91 Sportster. I'd like to sell Sporty but the problem with custom bikes is not many people want to pay for them. All too often people don't understand what goes into making a bike look the way they see it, the ones that do usually already have their own. I do also have a Mustang and I like trucks too. I'd love to have an Australian XB GT but unless I win the lottery, that ain't gonna happen. Same goes for the truck I want.
One drop raises the sea.

Damon Hill, if you upload pictures of any of your rolling materiel to Facebook, you can post links here.
However, the duration of that link is limited to about a month in my experience. Another way is using imgur.com which so far seems reliable. ![]() Yes, stefada, the graph was late today, too, even as the stats run finished earlier than it has done lately ![]() That's why I posted the old one. Thank you for posting the new one ![]() ![]() thepeacemaker7, would you think you have a chance to pass Biblepay while Base Camp treks with you? ![]() |

![]() Show your Chritians Badge to access around the table ! ![]() I'm laugthing of course, everybody is welcome. As we say in France : "Quand il y en a pour deux, il y en a pour trois". When there is for two, there is for three. Wich means, there is always a plate and a seat if one more join us. (In her farm, my grand-mother always put an empty plate on the table. ![]() Recette / recipe . Translator We can not go on a trek without a bit of cooking. And you will understand that here I use the French language (and the translator) . Today: Truffade Auvergnate . (Map to locate Auvergne in France) Do not be fooled by the name, which might suggest that there are truffles, but actually comes from the Auvergne langage "trufadà", which means potato. It is a dish that became popular with the potato crop, and we owe it to the shepherds who brought the herds to pasture for the summer. The main advantage was the ease of keeping the ingredients: Potato, Cantal, and smoked pork belly. Compared to the linked recipe, my Britanian origins make me recommend using butter, which I find better to taste. In the traditional version it's lard (not sure about the google translation of saindoux) , if you ever want to try it. As it is a fairly tasty dish, it is often served with salad. In wine, it may be a bit original, but a Cahors Rouge, to have a powerful wine in the mouth (A Chilean Merlot otherwise, but it's less French cuisine) . And a Chinon Blanc, trusting the sommelier (that I can not choose myself) . Bon appétit ! ![]() thepeacemaker7 In 2000-2003, I made things like that ... My personal speed records, that I'm sure : 90 Km/H in pure descent, 70 Km/H catching a moto. The World Record in roller, it's behind a 911 Porsche, with about 360 Km/H. (let you convert in mph) Of course, never do that if you are not sure of you ! Even when I forgot how to walk, because I spent all my time to ride when not work, sometime I don't do it. I was not in, it's too dangerous. We were about 30 friends who ride together, I'm the only one whose never go to hospital (even if I fall a lot of time, it's obvious) . ![]() [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Jun 2, 2019 7:39:47 PM] |

thepeacemaker7, would you think you have a chance to pass Biblepay while Base Camp treks with you? Maybe! Anything is possible. The Christians team will pass Biblepay in about 14 days at current speed, and that date is beyond June 6. However, the Christians team will pass Biblepay in the near future; it is just a question of when. We were slowly making progress even before the basecampers came to visit. ![]() [Edit 3 times, last edit by thepeacemaker7 at Jun 3, 2019 3:05:13 AM] |
