Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Since that night, I was thinking of a beef Bourguignon today, so long before the request for LM!

Thanks! smile

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

That was a wonderful meal, stefada. I hope we have leftovers for tonight
Often these simmer pots taste even better the day after, don’t you think?
NixChix, you have mastered that phone!

The soil is so dry in Scandinavia – unusual this early in the year – that wildfires pop up.
The worst one at the time is taking place in southern Norway with evacuations
which normally happens by flooding.
Go figure … confused

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

little mermaid,

--------
Indeed, the beef Bourguignon warmed, it's even better! And if it remains tomorrow (that's possible?) , It will be even better.
I did not think it would be so successful, I would have done it earlier if not.

blushing

NixChix,

--------
I forgot to say it yesterday, but the bones are of course shared between Puppy and Louloup. (I do not understand why I'm told he's getting a little chubby laughing )

You seem to be pleased with your trip to France, and I am very happy! If I had the means, you would be my guest.

wink

Chris,

-------
I think they make us happy with all these stats, thank you for sharing them here.

biggrin

Cooking today

As everyone does not like to eat the same thing twice (and I'm not sure there's enough Bourguignon beef left for everyone) , and this morning's Sun made me want to invite Summer to come earlier: Sardinade!

A recipe from the South of France, which consists of a barbecue of sardines. Beware, with Mediterranean sardines, no Atlantic, they do not grill the same.
(The Atlantic ones are bigger, we can not 'check grill' (translation of "saisir" ?) at the same, even if it's still very good)

It's simple! All you need is nice embers, and as soon as the sardines become golden, they are served. There is nothing to add, or do more.
Just cut off the head and tail, stab all the way down to remove the central stalk (some eat it so much it's fine) , and savor it.

A little glass of rosé, I propose a Languedoc, and it is paradise.

For those who know, it gives off a very peculiar smell, which nothing to feel from afar, tells us that summer is here.

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

stefada, I wish we had tons of Boeuf Bourguinon left. Now we are charring my friends .... crying
ChrisRasmussen, I'm so pleased that [GPT]CELYR turns out to be
a permanent member of Global Protection Team
This is what is of lasting value from our treks.
How did you find out?
By CELYR changing his name into [GPT]CELYR?
Or did you receive feedback from your Captain's e-mail?
- it was a good e-mail, you made there by the way

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Dear Little Mermaid, well actually by him changing his name. I haven't got any feedback yet but hopefully soon. Ether way I'm sure that he wants his picture on our website, register on forum to get his badge and ofcause register on Boinc nation, soon we will know more. By looking at team movements, it looks like CELYR is coming from ALSACE COMMUNITY GRID team. 😀

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

----------
Do not worry my little mermaid adored, I already have an idea in mind for tomorrow (I even changed given what you said, it will be for later the other idea.Maybe even to keep for the finish) . And maybe you'll prefer!

You know how I am, as long as it's not ready, nobody looks, and forbidden to enter the kitchen (same as my mom) . This is the surprise.

I try to alternate meat / fish (avoiding poultry that you do not like it) , and French and foreign recipes ...
If you liked beef Bourguignon, you should enjoy the next recipe ... I'll let you guess, or at least dream?

angel
