And were it not for OldChap's mermaid costume, I would never have had the WCG badges I do now. Talking about badges: Could I ask you to put our precious new one into your safe, please, stefada? Oh! you did that already. Thank you, my friend ![]() Yes, it is far wider than usual. Designing badges with a height limited to 60 pixel has frustrated nap for so long, I believe, that I think he needed to do one of 0.5 mile width ![]() ![]() |

(à refaire, que je suis à 61px de haut, mais pour l'idée) ![]() I loose(let me go ?) a little, but for balance with all the badges, it should not be cropped a little like this: (again, I'm 61px high, but for the idea) ![]() |

I see what you mean, stefada.
However, I think you need to obtain the accept from the designer - NAP2614 What do you say, nap? ![]() |

...and I forgot to save up... You couldn't know ![]() ![]() - I didn't know until yesterday myself ![]() Will you come anyway? Can you bring it over your heart to desert? If you do, I have a badge for you - and for stefada to stitch together with the neat strip you talked him into making for you ![]() Look what nap did: ![]() It was in the correct 60 pixel height from the start, but, boy! - did nap take advantage of the non-restricted width! ![]() I love it ![]() ... Well, stefada, sorry, as my mind hinted at, nap would not like his badge to be shrunk
----------------------------------------![]() He whispered to me that I wouldn't want to know what he thought about that idea .... Soooo, this week is full of difficult tasks for you - BladeD's request and the geometry of a very wide badge ![]() ![]() Good Morning Base Campers! Business Just to let you know that we actually have the creator of our badge ![]() NAP2614 on board with XtremeSystems now. Welcome, nap ![]() ![]() I shall be out of town for a couple of days, so - again - my posts will be few and far between. But, please, join XtremeSystems - even big boys can need a little help now and then ![]() Chit-chat Yesterday I went out with my Buddhist friend. We ate something unhealthy. My dish was called 'dumblings' which was a good thing, because dumplings it wasn't. Afterwards we were at a lecture about some of the new 2018 novels at the library. My mind spins. Today I'll attend a first aid and defebrillator course which my Senior Association thought would be good for us volunteers to know about - after all we are among grown-ups! ![]() EDIT: 'thought' added to complete an otherwise lacking sentence ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Nov 16, 2018 7:44:28 AM] |

Badges
--------- I fully understand NAP2614! It's his creation, and he does not want it to be amputated (and being a man, I understand very well the allusion). No problem that the badge it's very large, it's just that it's a bit weird on the backup. Quite simply. For BladeD's request, it's complicated! In itself, make a form, it's pretty simple. But to make that it is generated from the list of badges, makes that I only handle indices. For example, I do not know where the Andrax badge is, it's $badgePack[$i] with $i that is 4. This is the big difficulty of phase 2: Successfully recovering and processing data, but thinking like that. I think I found how to do it, but as I warned, I promise nothing, it's been 12 years since I had not written in php. At the time, I would have coded this in one night, and it would be optimized. There, it will take time, and already if it works, I would be happy. Knowing that I understood the 'real' demand, which would be a phase 3 and 4! Phase 3: That you can enter the list of participants for each trek, Little Mermaid. That way we enter our nickname at Base Camp, and the script generates our personal selection. (analyzing the wall of honors would be really too complicated) Phase 4: Put me in mind the graphic library, so as not to have a capture, but the image is generated automatically. Huh? But no, I did not get trapped! I have fun doing that, but, I forgot everything ... 1 Byteball.org 107.641.546 2 XtremeSystems 105.761.991 The results I have for the first day. Quick question: Do you receive WUs for Ebola? I wanted to do just that, that's what brings in the most points, but I had no calculation left. I corrected very quickly, reactivating other projects. And I still do 36'812 points for 8 days of calculation, but if there is way to do more. ![]() |

Others might correct me but I think Zika is next best

OldChap,
-------- I relaunched Zika, which seems to me the most 'profitable', for the contest. My 'big' PC (the one that makes the calculations by 8) is under Linux, the former under Windows 7. I do not see how to do more without buying a new PC. But it does not cost anything to ask. ![]() |
