If I knew what a wedgie is, I could answer ..
----------------------------------------What is a wedgie? *************** Oh, my Goodness! Looked it up. Oh my, oh my!!! Have never heard of that before. Must be a transatlantic specialty. No, cswchan, the Rosie has nothing to do with a wedgie whatsoever ... [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Apr 19, 2011 9:31:36 PM] |

You can't say we're not educational.
Gotta love those double negatives! |

You can't say we're not educational. Nope. I knew about Builder's Cleavage, and thought it was all I ever needed to know about that part of our anatomy.Gotta love those double negatives! Did I mess up the grammar? |

No, I was massacring the language on purpose. Deliberate poor usage ads emphasis. As I point out to the Persian Diversion when I use "ain't" to make a point.

You can't say we're not educational. Been thinking about this all night, GP. Gotta love those double negatives! [yes, I know, should get some diversion other than grammar, but I like grammar] I didn't think of that as double negative, although technically it could be said to be. I think of it as a refined, elegant way to say: "We are educational!" going to "You have to admit, we are educational" turning to "Don't you think we are educational?" I once had a Garfield bookmark with the fat cat in cowboy gear proclaiming: "What do I need with a cowboy hat when I ain't got no horsie?" Isn't that the mother of double negatives? - running off to brew coffee at GP's place ![]() |

Good Morning Base Campers!
----------------------------------------One more busy day passed. Many visitors. Many dishes to do. What Cheer. Current Trek #27 BitBendersTech: GTCola2010 went to work at once, no instructions needed. If you haven't found your way already [GTCola2010 is such a smart rookie] you here have the directions to the Base Camp Camp Ground where you'll find friendly banter and plenty of refreshments. Upcoming Outpost Trek #2 - U.S. Air Force @ Collatz Conjecture: The gap between Navy and Air Force narrowed again. If there should be more lone chrunchers out there looking for a cozy, caring Motley crew to go places with, our gate can be opened albeit you may sit outside in the cold for a while. This will be all for today from Base Camp HQ. I'm going out to see the anemones before it's too late, and the weather most certainly beckons me to investigate if there is life beyond Base Camp. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Apr 20, 2011 7:27:14 PM] |
