I'm glad you had flowers. I got to drive through dime size hail, but escaped the 6 inches of rain that dumped on Orange Park behind me. Glad my appointment wasn't any laster in the day!

Absolutely, guru
----------------------------------------Good Morning Base Campers! Yesterday was a quiet day. Everything humming along nicely. GTCola2010 is a natural, a model Camper. We are happy you chose to join us! Current Trek #27 BitBendersTech: Nothing to report, really. Even the small talk at the truck-stop corner has subsided. Upcoming Outpost Trek #2 - U.S. Air Force @ Collatz Conjecture: The gap between Navy and Air Force narrowed again. It shall be interesting to see how the development will be when all participating Campers move in to help cswchan. Today's weather will be even nicer than yesterday's. People sit outside chatting, drinking coffee, sunbathing. We are lucky. Today is the first day of Easter in Denmark, and people don't return to work until Tuesday. Many begin the camping season now, hooking up their campers to their little cars, and off they go. And the bikers are for once blessed with fine, warm weather when they traditionally start the riding season by pulling their shiny metal horses out from hibernation. The bad news is: The first MC accident of this year's Easter happened already. The good news is: It just amounted to some knocks. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Apr 21, 2011 12:52:47 PM] |

Today was the first day of Ridvan. One of 3 major holy days in the Baha'i Faith. The Ninth and Twelvth days of Ridvan will be the next holy days for me.

Good Morning Base Campers!
----------------------------------------If all this nice behaviour is going to become a habit, you'll put this daily chronicler between a rock and a hard place. OK, OK, I know. I have taken this upon me myself. From own free will or a drive or an urge. Noone asked me to do it - on the contrary, actually, but do I listen? Yesterday was a quiet day - even quieter than the day before that. It just runs! Well, I do have a few interior gossippy items. pinky, I can smap (I think), I outsmapped the guru. He graciously admitted defeat. sujo1 has a new avatar. Bubba has been replaced by a tarsius - this particular brand called (absolutely no pun intended) Ghost Monkey in Danish. [ducking as I see Ghost Plane kitchenware heading my way] (I cannot help it, GP. Danish was created before I was - I like to think) I hope sujo will explain what made him adopt this in many ways hideous critter to you. Beware! I tell you: My stomach still hurts .... Without knowing anyone counted I tripped over it somewhere stating that little mermaid is chatterbox of the week on the WCG board. Kind of embarrassing. OCDish. Somebody gotta tell me that I'm gonna be alright ... Current Trek #27 BitBendersTech: Nothing to report, really. Even the small talk at the truck-stop corner has subsided. (this was recycled) Upcoming Outpost Trek #2 - U.S. Air Force @ Collatz Conjecture: The gap between Navy and Air Force narrowed again. (this was recycled, too) Dan Holtz proudly posted that his U.S. Air Force Team has advanced to be in the #163 place overall. I only count collatzes, normal and mini, though. (this is new) Today's weather will be even nicer than yesterday's. People sit outside chatting, drinking coffee, sunbathing (this was recycled, as well) Hope we have left some of the great weather for you and not greedily sucked all of it up as ... we just cannot get enough of it ![]() I don't know where the limits for decency lies on WCG. If this picture is considered offensive, I'll replace it. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Apr 22, 2011 7:00:09 PM] |

LM - It sort of depends on the community needs whether a community acquires a building or not.
Teaching and prayers can happen in people's houses, in neighborhoods [some people use the club houses at their apartment complexes if a group is too big for 1 apartment], library conference rooms, or in our case, a former Lutheran church which is too small to hold everyone sometimes ![]() |

Good Morning Base Campers!
Well, what can I say? Everything runs smoothly. Current Trek #27 BitBendersTech: TLD pulled up his stakes, which indicates the trek is over as he is the best informed Camper. To be honest - and this is embarrassing - I don't even know the schedule for this trek. It wasn't planned in any way - just sort of happened topsy-turvy. But I think the "official" end date is today, Saturday. TLD, please correct me if I'm wrong. This should give those of you who have a home, the opportunity to return and fix the water faucet and plant the potatoes before we move on to the posh surroundings at Upcoming Outpost Trek #2 - U.S. Air Force @ Collatz Conjecture: Numbers simplified: They (being Navy) add 1 mio, we (being Air Force) add 2 mio on a daily basis. Having nothing special to say today, I'll celebrate getting aquainted with YouTube (what a cornucopia) by linking to this enchanting video. Tango Jalousie Let's dance! |
