Don Den, Captain of The Edwardians, and occasional Base Camper before he reached captaindom,
came with this utterly simple 'gaffs and gigs' explanation as an answer to my question on Guitarman's Facebook - John ~ Guitarman. How dumb can I be  Don Den, this is not the best way to save points for an honorary badge  Now if only one would come up with an equally simple explanation for 'you' and 'you'  Good Morning Base Campers!  You said you would close down, tanner2, but you’re still listed with Team Kraland.I reminded yodap, the EVGA orangutan, that he may – but doesn’t have to – move his rig. Eric_Kaiser is churning for full steam with team Kraland as he promised - oh, the blessing of reliability  and so is BladeD who has visited many, many teams within a very short span of time - so many that his signature broke .... - as if he has some catching up to do now he tasted this new freedom. A Raccoons team  and what have you.Doneske must have other business, because he didn’t rejoin SeriousCrunchers, where TLD, acpartsman, and davewhite5xq7 went - more blessed stability Fossaw left Kraland, but where did he go? Not to his original BOINC@Denmark as I see it. I better launch Free DC …  BUT at the moment my computer installs a major Windows update that it has fought with loading down for a couple of days - download error  sucking all user friendliness out of it. It was not able to download the thing until I had rebooted … and as long as all this goes on, I don’t have a computer; it’s Microsoft’s – it’s killing-me-softly-slow … And when/if ever finishes, I expect it will demand a reboot …  - the good news is: It seems to have acquired a politer approach as to reboots |

 Windows update went well. Took forever, but went well. In the final step they had made my computer my parents or the EU: ’These updates help to protect you in an online world’ Really? They continued: ’Leave everything to us’ Please  I’m used to manage pretty well on my own. I use your Microsoft Defender. I think you help me well by providing that. I don’t KLiK around … They asked me for feedback. Are you sure you really want feedback? From me? OK, I'll give you feedback - remember you asked for it yourself, right? I wanted to write: ’Cut the c**p and let me have my computer back' but in order to do that, I needed to download another app …   How come I feel someone tries to trap me under the pretense of trying to protect me?  |
