 I hope they will get your stresslevel down  And please don't call me Mrs. - it makes me feel older than my age  - mevrouw is so much more to my liking or zeemeermin, even sirena or sirenita   Did you ever notice all the little stairs up and down in Faulty Towers (if you would concentrate on the structure, please, and look beyond those  Australian boobies) you will find a prime example of that very special British hotel feature. Four steps up and four steps down. Just for the fun of it. Perhaps we should build such one inside our Grand Hotel. We might just get British guests some day, and it's important to make them feel at home - which by the way goes for the selection of cereal at the breakfast buffet as well. My experience is that the Brits are very particular about cereals  |

Little Brother, still trying to figure out how to deal with you falling to the wayside

Rushing down from changing the silk sheets at the upper floors of adriverhoef's Grand Hotel  ipkh, so sorry to keep you waiting. Which kind of room do you prefer? If you intend to use our sporty Grand Hotel Camp Ground I’m pleased to inform you that we do provide silk sheets for your sleeping bag as well, and no matter which kind of room you may choose, I guarantee you will have a water view. This is the Netherlands. I think we all have tried this at some point: Waking up not knowing time, date or even where. Remembering your reading club is due at 10 am and the time seems to be 9:40 am And you are going to that café with one of your reading friends, so you cannot chicken out and not come The magnitude of the matter seeps in. You text your friend saying you’re late but you will come You rush brushing you teeth, get just a small quantity of coffee brewing knowing that you can only have a small sip that will manage to burn you tongue for the rest of the day, but you cannot leave home without it No way can you walk as you normally do, you will be much too late, so you run to your car, drive the short distance and find the parking lot eerily accomodative and the door to the Senior Center locked! Your friend texts back: ’It must be someone else you should meet for lunch; our appointment is for tomorrow’ So, it’s Sunday. A Sunday that never really was  I look forward to Monday. - and now this! Good Morning Base Campers!
TGIM - Finally Monday The Christmas Challenge 2017 is running it’s course. top40.nl is at #13. I’m not sure it’s the best of number for your Grand Hotel, adriverhoef. Many hotels downright act as if they cannot count and have no rooms with ’13’ in them at all. There is no honorful way to get out of our pinch. Above us is team Chicago-IL-USA with almost twice! as many points as we have.To do that we would need more Base Campers. The rather crestfallen way to avoid #13 would be to let team Liverpool Community Grid pass us. If we brake some 50,000 points we will be at #14 which I’m sure will be good for business. On the other hand, yodap, thinking he made a faux pas at our party last night putting on his dancing shoes too late has blushingly added some extra power to make up for it. OlddanIT runs a steady ship, as does ipkh just in with his jet from Indiana last night.  Thank you for coming all three of you. Is everything to your satisfaction? Anything we can do to make your stay more pleasant? And had my Little Brother tanner2 not fallen by the wayside ... tsk, tsk, tsk .... and got lost in sujo1’s SeriousCrunchers Roadside Saloon, we would have been in even better shape … I cannot even see SeriousCrunchers on the point table for The Christmas Challenge 2017 but our French friends, Team Kraland, is doing very well at spot #11. Good luck to you  We could use some extra firepower, so if anyone sits out there looking for some homey atmosphere, please join us at top40.nl.
