I may have missed something. The game is nice and addictive. But who pays the rice?

FreeRice is a non-profit website run by the United Nations World Food Programme.
FreeRice has two goals: Provide education to everyone for free. Help end world hunger by providing rice to hungry people for free. This is made possible by the generosity of the sponsors who advertise on this site. Whether you are CEO of a large corporation or a street child in a poor country, improving your education can improve your life. It is a great investment in yourself. Perhaps even greater is the investment your donated rice makes in hungry human beings, enabling them to function and be productive. Somewhere in the world, a person is eating rice that you helped provide. Feel free to contact us, you can also find us on Twitter and Facebook. Thank you. |

Did yesterday about 3500...does that constitute a single meal? The scoring was havoc, one moment it would show e.g. 1170 and then on the next answer it was showing hundreds if not a thousand less and changing topic it was gone (plates on right top increasing/decreasing). The cities and capitals of countries is best fun... where's Tiblisi ;?

I personally eat rice all the time, but I have no idea how many grains qualify as a meal. Anyone know?

a lot. About 7,200 grains are in a cup so it depends on how much rice you want. If you want a cup of rice, there would be about 7,000 grains for one plate of rice.
