Interesting News about Protein Crystallography

01 Nov 2007 Science Daily: 'Preparing 3-D Images Of World's Most Deadly Infectious Diseases' http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/10/071031124122.htm

This article is not about cancer, but since Help Conquer Cancer is developing CrystalVision to aid in crystallizing proteins, I think that articles like this are appropriate.

Re: Interesting News about Protein Crystallography

Hi halfcard,
The real point of the article is finding out how the proteins are folded, using crystallography and X-ray diffraction analysis. The images are just the result of knowing how they are folded. But an image can help give a scientist an idea.
