Re: Problems with registration.

Does the original poster still have issues after trying the above? Sorry to barge in on your thread.

Re: Problems with registration.

I looked earlier and a BOINC account key wasn't created for me. When I try to add the project from BOINC it connects to the website then asks me for username and password. Then gives me an error after I enter them.

Okay, if you don't see a field BOINC account key with a 32 hex value in My Grid > My Profile, something has likely broken down. The registration normally creates one automatically, regardless if installing a client or not.

FAO knreed et all, can you please check up on this, at least it has been determined that the Opera browser is culpable

thanks

Edit: Added Opera comment! (Java?)

Re: Problems with registration.

I'm at work at the moment, but I'll go ahead and try using a seperate browser since that worked for Juicy2.

Re: Problems with registration.

I believe this was actually a problem introduced by the website update we did on the 1st. There was an issue with the new BOINC device profile settings getting set properly at registration. The issue was fixed on Friday (the 2nd), so hopefully no one else is having trouble with registering.
