How much ram and swapfile has it (BOINC) available? Are there any 'statuses' in the BOINCmgr Task description column saying e.g. number 8 is in 'waiting for memory' or some other condition?

All clients come upon installation with a file (gui_rpc_auth.cfg) containing a 32 character random hex number. Generally i advise to go around all the clients and change that to something one remembers and make it same on all.
----------------------------------------Bit puzzled, how do you presently manage your remote clients?

Set and forget is what every project should aspire to achieve and how most clients can be held on too. The multiple choice of WCG projects has it's appeal and not for nothing has made it the biggest humanitarian grid on BOINC. In the next week or so a new project is added. With an 'all projects' profile you'd start to automatically participate.... work unit supply never runs dry.
