Not as such.
It looks like they are trying to turn the domain name into an asset without actually bothering to run an expensive and troublesome grid project. I think they have burned too many bridges in the grid community for it to succeed. |

On Monday, November 12, 2007, Grid.org will unveil its new identity as an online community for open source grid and cluster computing!

I guarantee that this is a marketing ploy. If you are a developer, you sign up and start getting information about how great their products are.

Will they be able to talk to Scribe and Guitar Man??? After all, Luckenbach, Texas only has 2 residents, and it's famous. UD got bought out by Univa to form Univa UD. Continuing to the main site, there's always this marketspeak to consider: There's simply nowhere else to go for open source grid and cluster products with this level of functionality and support. You wouldn't want to be left out when the site launches.  Where's "nowhere else to go"? Here?
