Alas my 2 week trip comes to an end, and as usual its been a pleasure to be here at MOT who always give such a warm welcome - thank you all

I’m back from the mini-vacation from retirement.
---------------------------------------- Had a great time. MOT had great numbers while I was away ... maybe I should go away more often? It looks like the email from WCG (or our great team spirit?) has encouraged some members, who had not returned results for awhile, to begin contributing again. THANKS!  I see the Base Campers are checking out of the MOTley Motel. I guess you probably will not want to know it is 44.6F (7.0C) here @08:40 and the prediction is for a high of 57F (14C) ... no, you probably did not want to hear that. @Johathan, you had better watch out for Mushball!! She's going to run that Audi of yours off the road!! Good job for both of you! @Keith, looks like the year's goal is probable. Many seem to be stepping up the pace. We could use some new paper here. Trying to read backward with this <%^$#> forum software is like walking through deep sand  Cheers! |

Welcome back! Actually the snow here was a short event. We didn't get that much, but with freezing rain, it was pretty treacherous for drivers. Today, it has warmed up. It is 48° F right now at noon and very foggy. I agree with you -- it's way past time to start a new chapter. I like to see that at about 500 posts. How about it Keith? |

Wow -- somebody turned on the snow switch about 10 minutes ago!! There is already snow accumulating on the streets! We are due for a couple of inches of snow and maybe a quarter inch of ice ------- I like the snow

Gerald- I remember that storm very well. probably got at least an inch of ice, probably a bit more even. I had to heat my apartment with the gas stove. We had a freezer meltdown banquet about 3 days in.

It is still like the first of November here. We need rain as we have had only 1" since the first of October. There is a 30% chance for Tuesday but I think it is just wishfull thinking. Enjoy your weather.
