Why only 2 results per day

I have machines working on this but am getting errors that I'm limited to 2 results a day.

Why is this?

Re: Why only 2 results per day

Hello Dougga,
When you return errors, your daily quota is reduced. When you return valid results the daily quota is raised. After a long string of errors, you reach the minimum quota of only 2 work units a day. You need to correct whatever is wrong with your computer. The most obvious possibilities are bad memory or excessive overclocking.

Re: Why only 2 results per day

I have errors on one machine: an AMD64.
Do all of my machines get penalized due to this one or are the limitations distributed by device?

Thanks

Re: Why only 2 results per day

Hello Dougga,
Each individual device has its own quota. Only devices with errors will have a low quota. This keeps faulty computers from cycling uselessly through lots of work units while allowing for quick adjustment once the computer is fixed.
