Lost someone to Crohn's Disease.

A very good friend of mine lost her eldest daughter to Crohn's disease today. She was a mere 14 years old. I've been friends with the mother since highschool and can still remember the day Shayla was born. Everyone is still in shock since there was no sign of this coming. She was diagnosed a couple years ago and suffered complications(weight loss, etc) but nothing life threatening. Apparently she had a siezure and couldn't be revived. An autopsy has been ordered.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I have a son of my own now too and thoughts of losing him bring tears to my eyes. No parent should have to bury a child! Crunch on everyone, we need to stamp out these horrible diseases ASAP!
