BOINC on Replicated Servers

I installed the Linux BOINC on one of my servers at work that doesn't have a very high load, and it is producing great results, so I would like to run it on the backup server as well. The primary is rsynced to the backup on a regular basis, so I was wondering what all should be excluded to prevent isuues - data directories, state information, etc.

Re: BOINC on Replicated Servers

All the state information should be in the BOINC data directory. Exclude that, and you should be fine.

If you are unsure where the data directory is, it is listed at the top of the BOINC message output.
