Re: results error

The error number 1073741674 (0xc0000096) was not previously reported here.

Added: Found the identical at Seti as an unrecoverable error: http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/beta/forum_thread.php?id=851 & the BOINC Wiki: http://www.boinc-wiki.info/Unrecoverable_erro..._('(hex-number)')) which leaves it as unidentified sad

Re: results error

If I had to guess, I'd say this is "The application failed to initialize properly" - usually caused by a DLL problem.

George, can you give us any more information? Operating System, version, etc?

If it happens again, I recommend resetting the project as a first step.

Re: results error

I would appreciate it if you could post the actual messages. There's a "copy" button.

Thanks.

Re: results error - exit code -1073741674 (0xc0000096))

Above trail seemingly died, had one of those very frequent power-outs, some are just enough to spin the DVD down to old 77 rev as was this one, about 10 seconds where the UPS had to help out. Problem developed though was the error code 1073741674, same as GEORGE

BOINC 5.11 (that test compile!), in Network Suspend Mode!
WinXP-Pro All up to date patched
P4HT 2.5ghz
1.5GB ram
Brand new install!

As with GEORGE the odd 1 minutes comm defer just going before it, 14 seconds after power restore and computation resume. In an other thread , Jean reported the familiar 1073741819 error, but leaves out the bracketed code, which per oogle search could have been (0xc0000096)) too.

anyway 7:45:23 hours crunching out the window with "computational error".... think it's going to remain as this one-off.
