I have noticed that the report deadlines for the HPFP2 are longer than the FAAH WU's. I reade that the deadlines were increased for the HPFP2 to 11 days, but the FAAH's are still 9 days. My question is why is BOINC not crunching the WU's that have the sooner report deadlines? It seems to be crunching in an order based on when the WU was downloaded.

That's correct. If BOINC is confident it can make all its deadlines, it's a simple FIFO queue.
