I saw no reason why it should be shut down for the weekend unfortunately in the past we have had worse and saw our way through it. The admins did see a reason. I was also shut out from the same forums as you, meaning everyone, but was able to view the continuing invisible nastiness from original and numerous extra accounts from the same and other associated addresses that continue to be generated. Adywebb, I know you don't want to hear this - but some of the things carl.h has (presumably) been telling you outside the WCG forums simply aren't true. The staff don't want to enter into a dialogue with him - he has wasted enough time already, and we have PROJECTS to launch!
He received a warning (his second) before he was banned. He has been told that he is banned (both on the forum, and officially by email), and the official reason is "disrupting the forum", since WCG don't want to get into a blow-by-blow breakdown of his behaviour. The sheer number of posts that needed editing is a good indication that his behaviour was way, way over the line. The staff did things slowly and carefully, and did everything by the book. carl.h's behaviour *after* being banned merely confirmed that they made absolutely the right decision. WCG have removed a troublemaker. He might be a nice guy to talk to, and he may be fun in a less restrictive forum. But he won't play by the WCG rules, so he's out. Permanently. And that's the end of it. Now can we please get back to crunching? And you know what's tragic? I'm hoping that the staff didn't allow this affair to affect their critical work, but there is no doubt it will have had an effect on timescales. We will now have to wait longer for things like the stats overhaul and forum upgrade. Don't know about you, but that makes me very unhappy. |

WCG have applied NEW rules retrospectively, this is scandalous.
No matter what you have to say to try to keep crunchers, I ask was I treated with respect ? It`s my family`s time and money I put into this project and it`s my whole family you disrespect. You have made an example of me when my crimes were petty by example compared to some in the past. I personally think I scared you all so you crucified me. |

No banning rule was in place. You think you will get away with this pack of lies ? You are making your already sad behaviour worse !
