I did it again, I woke up with a question on my mind. I know what most folks will say, but I do not find it in the words of the bible. Please just think about this and I am not looking for a posting about it. Here is the Question. When we pray to God, does the word say anywhere that God say "No" to our prayer with out a reason. Prayer is not answer because of something that is not a right that blocks the prayer. Does this mean we can pray for anything and receive it, "NO" If it is sinful it will be blocked and not heard. The list goes on of the things that will block prayer. Larry: Perhaps you are thinking about asking/praying "according to His will". Here are a few quick things that I found: See 1-John 5:14, and John 15:7 also, 1-John 3:22 receiving supported by obedience (seeking His will, not yours) Hindrances: Mark 11:25 - not forgiving others. Matt 21:22 - lack of faith. James 4:3 - wrong motives (selfish) ![]() |

Congrats Larry.
----------------------------------------I think I finally tracked my slow down to a dieing hard drive in my Athlon 64 cruncher. Oh well, I accidentally installed 32 bit Linux on this box and needed to re-install the 64 bit version anyway. At least I already have another hard drive which I'm getting ready to evict from it's external enclosure so I can put a DVD burner in it. Now if I can just convince Linux to light the second processor in one of my other computers: The wakeup_secondary_cpu function doesn't wait long enough after the NMI and uses hard coded delay values. |
