Yup -- this place is much more friendly. I particularly appreciate the high tolerance for dumb questions, and the quick stomping out of flame wars. Peace, word games, and crunching! Though I keep hoping to hear an announcment for a WCG project to cure stupidity! ![]() |

Though I keep hoping to hear an announcment for a WCG project to cure stupidity! ![]() I don't think a grid made up of PC's would have enough processing power to handle that one. Perhaps a grid of supercomputers, if given the time, might be able to at least start on it. ![]() |

You have not missed any recent newsletter (as you can see with the link provided by Dave Bell): the info was given in an e-mailed HCMD announcement that I received on June 18 at 19:28 GMT. In addition to what Dave added to his post there is another question: has this announcement been sent to everybody or only to users who had selected HCMD (and were running UD by the way)? Maybe Dave can find the answer... Cheers. Jean. Jean, someone wrote to say he got the mail on a dead member address.... after the answer was Yes, all members. I think if you have multiple handles registered, but same email address attached, you only get it once.

Yes, all members. I think if you have multiple handles registered, but same email address attached, you only get it once. I have a couple of handles scattered around here. I always get 2 newsletters, one to each.

(if so, you really ought to tone it down a notch with those "nonverbal communications" you were flashing me... I could barely keep up, 'cause I was too busy "communicating" with the other driver!) (too many distractions while driving -- my car was made in the old days, and doesn't even HAVE cup holders) Thats what the space between the driver's seat and the parking break lever is for!! 4. South Africa Climate Prediction September Hello, I just find this University of Cape Town, Rondebosch Associated with human population pressures on regional ecosystems related to agricultural and domestic fuel wood consumption practices, most of the southern Africa subcontinent savannah is periodically subjected to some of the highest degree of biomass burning in the world, loading heavy amounts of aerosols into the atmosphere. It's the new south african project ? [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jul 27, 2007 5:30:20 PM] |
