Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, "I think I'll squeeze these dangly things here and drink whatever comes out?"

Little did the Cs know when they challenged DPC http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/cowswithguns.php . A thread has been opened to discuss the "Mow Down" which in idiom translates to aiming a machine gun, or a 'scythe' (zeis) used by the grim reaper, at the legs of the adversary.

Well this is the laugh of the Century!
I see that you've called for a SURGE for the month of August! Extra Battalions! Regiments! Special Forces! Airborne Rangers! All because of one extra Christian standing in front of our usual Team of Christian Crunchers! Fraidy Cows! |

When Cows hear of a challenge, they tend to come together en then face the challenge. Not to worry, it looks like there are still more cows joining on this project for the month of August.
We'll see what will happen there could be a lot of dust when we pass by, but as i mentioned before i will wave as we pass by. |

Having more of you here crunching is great for the project tuxnl, and it is very welcome, even if just for a month
- but I think what Olivia is trying to say is that the challenge was made on the basis of being between two teams of similar output - if one team is able to bring in the masses from other projects just for the challenge then it is probably pointless from the others point of view as the inequality will just be too great to generate the right interest and incentive.Speaking for myself, and not for Christians, it may be better perhaps for you all to just have a 'mass project assault' for the month amongst yourselves on similar basis to what Boinc@Australia do at various projects ![]() |

AdyWebb, without the Cs' challenge, there would have been no joining in the numbers seen now. You know well that a PotM takes a lot more organizing not started from a coincidental reading of a post on DPC members part, 1 week before the months start, *Particularly* when it is known that hardly any DPC crunchers actually communicate thru the WCG fora. This is post 118 in the Team thread that has existed for 34 months.
----------------------------------------If the Cs wish to withdraw, *DPC has just this minute accepted*, a deeply sad development. DPC will do what it's doing best.... Crunch in grid formation. We'll go for the win, no helicopter gun ships. DO watch our famous real-time projection for a particular line to become a bit steeper.... the color is not purple.... it's red. mooh ![]()
