Re: Statistics with two devices

Hiddenson, do things seem to be working ok now? now I have an irregularity sad

I have a big work unit right now, and it is going about 1% per hour, and am up to about 90%, so it has been several days since I last uploaded a completed work unit. Today I noticed that the points shown in my agent are 3 less than what the web page says I have earned. The total run time is an exact match, and my lowest scoring work unit shown on the web page is over 100 points, so I can't figure out why I get a 3 point error.

Anyway, relating all of that because I tend to assume that web page is correctly tabulating points and will always match the last agent to upload a result, but that isn't happening for me today. 3 points is a trivial amount, but it is odd that there is any difference.

Re: Statistics with two devices

I have seen this anomaly before and guessed that it was due to the fact that the points allocated are rounded down. Possibly, it is held better within the database that drives the web page statistics.

Hey joatmon,

My statistics hardly reflect the reality these last 6 hours... however, I'd give it another 12 hours before ranting. I think it needs at least 24 hours to be in tune with results.

Still, I think it's not much up to date... for a web server, that is.

Peace,

Hiddenson
