Hello jal2,
The slow BOINC exit was introduced in the 5.8 code. I have been running 5.10 since yesterday and 2 shutdowns were speedy again, so the shutdown issue may go away soon. Lawrence |

Lawrence, I've never had a slow BOINC shut-down, think you mentioned it before like taking ages.... is it a 5.8 feature? I see nada difference with 5.10.7 and the OS has never changed.

When I upgraded from 5.4 to 5.8, the exit times became enormous. 5.10 is fast again.
Why? ? ? Anyway, I can hope this problem has been dealt with. |
