I notice that when I have to reboot my computer, that a new module is downloaded on my computer upon reboot. I notice this only with AIDS research. At times I have lost hours of research on a previous AIDS module because of the need to reboot. I have tried to put the module in sleep mode after noticing this problem. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?
When I was with cancer research (www.grid.org) and other areas withing wcgrid, I came back to a certain "checkpoint" when I had to reboot. Not working with AIDS. Any suggestions? I really hate losing a second of crunching! |

The added question since January 31 is: Vista? The Checkpoint Savings post in the Start Here forum describes how the checkpointing works. FAAH on my C2D saves every 20-25 minutes (i use maximum postponed disk-writing)
