cool FAAH Speeding up

Hi all,

You can Track the estimated time to finish and progress form the link below;
http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q210/Sekerob/WCGYearsgraphProject-1.png

I get this link form one of the threads in the forum. I guess sekerob is the owner & publisher.. Thanks to his good work.

Aport form this HSMD project is nearly in the finish line, at least for the first stage and it won't come online until 2008. Genome comp. will see the day light in a week so there will be more spare CPU cycles for FAAH and HPFP2 projects. This means we'll gear up until new Phases of finished projects show up. This will also get the Estimated time to finish 3 to 6 months back.
As far as I guesstimate..

Re: FAAH Speeding up

There will also be completely new projects launching soon (for varying values of "soon").

I do not think that we can assume that. HCMD is the project that just finished. All three are busier now. There should be enough GC work left for a few more months.

Select Research - Genome Comparison and click on Genome Comparison status report. That takes you to http://www.dbbm.fiocruz.br/labwim/bioinfoteam...eComparison/progress.html which currently says that as of 13 June 2007 we are 68% through. So there are still enough work units for several months.

Re: FAAH Speeding up

It's fun.... like the Weather Man... who predicts best.... actually in small print and present sliding 7 day average and 12m work units, July 22.... as always projects taper off so before the last is back it will be August. HCMD still had 952 WU's coming thru the feedback channels on June 14. At any rate count on a force shift around July 22.... which ever way the wind blows (in the coding room) :D

retsof, as is customary, European vacations not factored in LOL

Re: FAAH Speeding up

It's always motivating to see projects finish. For my part, I always run the project, that is closest to its completion to speed things a bit up. biggrin

Re: FAAH Speeding up

Well, I come up with the figures as follows; Daily avarage WUs Vs Yesterday WUs .

GC has skyroketed from 40K to 112K. That mean a 1% tick everyday. from %68 july 13th, it should be around %74 by today ( 21st).

FAAH also has some kickup from 72K avarage to 82 K daily, Not an impressive one but seems to be improving.

HPF2 gets 23K to 66K nearly a whopping three fold.

If new projects do not show up very soon FAAH and HPF2 will benefit from increased resource shares. I assume GC is already around the corner. Not much left actually.
