Hello everyone. Given the events of this past weekend for the WCG ..., I wanted to get our statistics from the weekend posted while that is still possible. I would recommend that you remove for the time being your e-mail address, website and IM ids from your forum profile. ...

In team news, Aleph0 has dropped from our active ranks but recent new member Silbo has joined it. As of Sunday, we were 599,029 points from 25,000,000 so I would expect to see us reach the mid-point to our goal by end of the week. Hopefully, our number of members returning a result each day will pick back up today as well.

Also - I would always recommend that nobody ever post email addresses, websites and IM ids that they don't want anyone in the world to see. Only well behaved search engines respect the robots.txt files that specify what should be indexed on this site. Poorly behaved search engines such as the ones that would be used by spammers will index every page on the site to attempt to find email addresses and the like.

Thank you for the edit but you still looks like you are suggesting those that were involved would in some way use that info in an illegal or unethical way to harm your team or teammates.
I agree with knreed that having that info in your profile makes it public if you do. That is not related to the Teddies or any of its members. We are not spammers or hackers. We are not the ones causing a problem now.

I've edited....now it's your turn (simply because you quoted me). I think my other posts indicate I don't totally disagree with his position. The minor frustration of not being able to update my team this weekend probably got the better of me. I wasn't intending to insult anyone (and apologize to anyone who saw it that way).
