hi.
----------------------------------------I have done a small search into the forum to find a solution to my problem, but i don't understand all information, and i am not able finally to find a solution. I use the software and i have tried to do that he used more than 85% of CPU. After some tries, he finnaly run a 30% sometimes 40%. The main probleme is that i have the french website. I have went into BOINC and i have make a new profil. I have call him HOME. I have put him on Custom profile, with what i want about CPU uses. and i saved. But it wasn't working, whereas the software said that the current task was : fightAIDS@home (i supposed that @home mean that he was on my profile). so, i have wait (maybe it was necessary that the serveur talk with the software) then, i have change again HOME to Maximum Output (and save)but he running gain < 70%. So i have wait again, but no result. I am desesperate. Indeed i have a good computer, and i think it's possible to use AIM+my browser and in the same time, the software with 80% CPU usage or upper. If somebody could help me, it's would be very friendly, but try to use a noob english pls, or french, because i am really bad in english and nobody can help me... Are you using BOINC or UD? I think you might be using UD. If the program looks like this:

I think that's the best thing to do, because 30-40% means that you have a dual core or HT computer, and BOINC can use it fully.
There are instructions here: http://www.wcgwiki.org/en/boinc/migration.cfm If you need help in French, Sekerob will be along in a while. Just ask your question in French, and you should get an answer in the same language. |

si tu as d'autres questions n'hesite pas a venir sur ce site http://www.grid-france.fr/ on a un forum bien actif et puis tu pourras toujours t'inscrire dans l'equipe si tu n'es affiliee a aucune en fait des qu'on a un dual core il faut passer avec boinc il va faire travailler le tout a 100 % bonne journee |
