ROY HARGROVE
----------------------------------------(October 16, 1969 – November 2, 2018) Stupor and lament again for the global jazz planet as ROY death occured from heart failure during a surgical intervention.Just 49 years old !!! "Trumpet and flugelhorn player he won two Grammy Awards. Hargrove was the bandleader of the progressive group The RH Factor, which combined elements of jazz, funk, hip-hop, soul, and gospel music."(WIKI) He was very much appreciated in France in the wake of a triumph at Marciac Jazz Festival (with Winton Marsalis) Hommage broadcast at France Musique presents a perfect selection of Roy's genial talent. She was also a TV and film actor as well hosting a jazz program on radio.
