At least it was not a boring race.
We already know that the Ferrari cars won't go in the wet. Nice for Vettel but it is of course only because of the rain. |

An enjoyable race with some good passing going on down the line. Vettel thoroughly deserved his win and it's good for the sport to have another youngster coming up the ranks.

Singapore Grand Prix Preview - Drivers prepare for the dark side
Few races have been quite so keenly anticipated in 2008 as the inaugural Singapore Grand Prix. It will be the first night race in Formula One history, and the sport's first-ever street race in Asia. ![]() |

Bumpy but fun - the drivers give their verdict on Singapore
The heat and humidity will continue for the remainder of the weekend, together with an ambient temperature high around 32 degrees Celsius, but it remains to be seen whether there is a repeat of Friday's early thunderstorm which would wash away much of the rubber laid during the course of the two opening practice sessions. Sunday's race will run over 61 laps of the 5.067 kilometre (3.15 mile) circuit, or 309.087 kilometres (192.066 miles). It starts at 2000 hours local time, which is eight hours ahead of GMT |
