LOL

They can ban the hosepipe as much as they like. Nobody will need to use one any time soon biggrin

Your wildfires are Global Warming. Our floods are Global Warming.

Despite there not being any .... Global Warming that is wink

Let's hope there's no "Big One" at Daytona or here at Silverstone tomorrow.

Dave

http://www.buienradar.be/europa

Silverstone is right in the centre of that low

http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=52.078611,-1.0...amp;q=52.078611,-1.016944

There might be showers but no torrential downpour at the moment - maybe later in the race if that rain currently making it's way across The Netherlands gets pulled back in

Let's hope so for Jensen's sake

Re: The Formula One Thread

Now Dave. Both your government and I have told you that this is not rain. It is an airborne aquatic event due to the increase in the transpiration cycle caused by Global Warming. Now be quiet and pay your taxes. laughing biggrin laughing
I hope Silverstone is better than Daytona. Typical Daytona race. They paraded in a single-file circle for 150 laps. Then with 10 laps to go they wrecked half the field. Then on the last lap they wrecked half of the survivors. Two big ones and a very booooooring race. sad
Go, Mark, GO! wink
Cheers mate. coffee

Re: The Formula One Thread

Appears to be a good race so far. Mark is in the lead now. I'm having to "watch" on F1's live timing and scoring. Usually SPEED broadcasts the race live. This year ABC has the contract and the "live broadcast" is delayed 5 hours. Still a good one though.
Go Mark, GO!

EDIT: Mark wins by 3 seconds at Silverstone. dancing

Next race, Germany, try here...http://www.oleoletv.com/ it is NOT the best but you CAN watch it live. When the ads pop up you have to manually click to get rid of them but it is watchable until they are back on Speed.

Sometimes they block one and you have to move to another but as I said better than not watching at all.
