Moving on . . . .

Well, crunched for a while, back in my old sandbox, and climbed to the top of the pile so to speak. devilish

I have a few more teams in my past that I thougth I should drop back in at, and repay their getting me involved in this process by shoring up a million points so. Had a great time as a member of the SeriousCrunchers, trading barbs with Ghostie now and then. tongue

Next stop will be Team User Friendly, who inspired me to start crunching with a blurb under the comic strip one day. I read it, looked into it, and after reading several testimonials, installed in on one system to check and see that there were no serious security concerns. Perhaps I feel a little guilty blushing that I left their team when I was still testing, and before I brought my home network fully into the fight!

Anyone else have a good story on how/why they started crunching here at the WCG?

Roy... first I would like to say that it was/is a pleasure to have you on SC ......
I really don't remember how I learned about DC... but I joined a team known as "Wanderlust"@ what was then known as "United Devices" ...later "the Grid "[[[we all know what happened there!!!]]]..did some graphics work and created a web site{since been replaced} for them ...at the time I was running a single new AMD 1.2 w/512; behind a couple of "Hot Dogs"; Me and mine were a force to deal with at +_ 800 pts/day.....long story short ...I had to back out for a couple years ....rest is ..as they say "History"....I recently took a year off; but will return with a vengence' I.E. 16 gig of proccessors and 20 gig of RAM ....ALL MINE!!!!devilish wink
