Actual Bandwidth Use?

What are the actual numbers for bandwidth use, upload and download, for the Grid agent?

My friend who pays for bandwidth on his FTPs needs precise numbers.

He'll set up 3 pc's on the Grid if it's reasonable.

biggrin Re: Actual Bandwidth Use?

What exactly do you mean by reasonable? From my knowledge, most of the time, it won't even have to be connected to the internet. It is just using the idle cpu clock cycles to fold proteins and stuff. The most I know is that download at the maximum is 4MB and Upload is about the same... I think. That isn't a lot of bandwidth even for a modem (I use a modem), perhaps you should look around the website for more answers... overall, it's worth it completely... biggrin
