No work from project

Just walked into my house and one of the clover machines is sitting there doing nothing.
No work. I do a manual update and get a message of" no work available from project and also I've "reached my quota of 8 WU per day.
This machine does app 50 FAAH WU per day for the last 3 months and only on the FAAH project BUT is set to get work from other projects if none available on FAAH.
Any ideas?
Oh, Not just me, Many on XS are experiencing the same thing.
Thanks,
Movieman

Re: No work from project

Yep, I agree Sek - looks like due to the server error in aborting work, it has activated the 'error failsafe' and is now limiting those machines to 8 WU's a day.

I think Kevin needs to manually overide this setting for these machines effected by the problems earlier.

Can you give him a prod over at the backroom?

I'm afraid that didn't work for my machine ID 169227 - just keeps saying 'not requesting new work, or reporting completed tasks' - and after the 5 minute Deferring Communication - nothing.....

Thanks!
Suggestion for you guys. Ady mentioned that there is a max of 50WU per day I beleive? You might want to bump that number to 75 as right now I can do more than 50 FAAH units in one day from one machine and with the next generation of cpu's many will be capable of blowing thru more than 50.
Just my 2 centavlos.. biggrin

Re: No work from project

Dave - its 50 WU's per core wink - although at this time it has been manually set to 30 for all machines that have communicated with the server in the last 24 hours.

Regarding my previous post - Kevin has answered over at the other thread - thanks Kevin cool
