Could you please include this bug fix in future fixes, if it is being caused by the Forum Software?
When a message has been composed, completed and posted and you hit the Back Button in my BT Yahoo Browser you get a page not found message So you have to click on the Forum button to return to the Forums I don’t know if this is restricted to my BT Yahoo browser, or is being experienced by other users in Versions of Explorer, Firefox, etc, etc, If other members are experiencing the same problem please report it in this thread, as we will then be able to ascertain if it is indicative of my browser or is a common problem with the Forum Software This will save the programmers a lot of time when addressing the above problem in the future With Thanks |

----------------------------------------I have been a bit frustrated by this too, but I don't consider it to be a bug. When you are returned to the thread, it has been changed to include your newly edited post. Hitting the back button at this point should take you back to the page that notifies you it will automatically take you to your new post (the 3 second page you see after you hit the post reply button or whatever it is labelled), not the list of threads in that particular forum. It would be a nice change to the forum software to somehow remember where you came from and get you back to that point, however. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 3, 2005 1:22:27 PM] |

I get the same thing -- just didn't explain it that well I guess. Well, it is a bit earlier in the day here and I am on my 2nd cup of coffee -- LOL. I think we both agree that it would be nice to take you back to the list of threads for the forum though. |
